Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In New York, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 5β11 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in New York peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

One of the best Japanese places Iβve ever been to. Without knowing we had restaurant week and it was amazing. Hand-rolls are so tasty and fresh. Nick was our waiter and he was extra accommodating and nice. Really liked the whole experience. Would definitely come back. Thank you!

Had a great experience at Wabi Nori. We ordered the Table Omakase, the 6-piece Hand Roll Set, and the tiramisu for dessert. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The hand rolls were especially impressive with crispy nori and high-quality fish. The atmosphere was elegant, and the service was attentive. Definitely one of the best sushi experiences in Flushing. Highly recommend!

I was at this Japanese restaurant for their $45 Restaurant Week, sans add-ons, with one other person recently. Compared to the regular menu, it is decently priced, at least when you add on the appetizer and dessert. In general, I liked the appetizers a lot, had a mixed bag with the temaki, and the desserts were decent. The lighting was very dark inside, with a couple of small lights on the already cramped tables. I wasn't that big of a fan of the service. She was friendly but rushed us, with our meal taking less than an hour. I understand her asking in terms of happy hour, as it was just ending, but not otherwise. Speaking of which, I also overheard her telling another table that it was a bit hard to fit everything, and in the back of my mind, the only thing I could think of in the back of my mind was, "Hey, maybe tell the kitchen not to send everything at once." It's not like all the tables were taken either. In terms of happy hour, I got a bottle of Sapporo for $6 instead of $9. As we were two, we split the appetizer, and I can tell from the other table that the portions were the same. My preference of the two was the Soft Shell Crab for $16 normally. The crab had a nice light

Such a cute and tranquil venue! Loved as soon as you walk on you are greeted and serviced. Or waited Natalie was amazing. Always made sure it glasses were full and we had everything we needed. My favorite was the pork katsu sandwich. It was crispy and seasoned perfectly. The edamame was a huge hit as well. May be strange to say but I really loved the bathroom aesthetic. It was huge, well designed and very clean. All in all would go back with more friends to get another taste!
